I absolutly love this man. I think he is so funny! He speaks the truth. It is soOooO true what he said. Almost every word is the truth. ADD and ADHD are all stupid excuses that parents made for their children. If you go to any other country you are almost guaranteed a better education than here. All that FCAT crap only sets us behind especially in college. You don't use that anywhere! ... i love that he speaks his mind. He equally offends everyone. He doesn't only pick on one race. he messes with everyone.

Its true though, parents these days are constantly making excuses for their children. They don't let them stand for themselves. Especially when it comes to school. The standards have been lowering dramatically to satisfy "stupid america". We're lucky we know how to add and substract. The majority of america needs their fingers to count and give up when they run out of fingers. High School was such a breeze since the teachers taught at such a "DUH DUH DUH" pace.

In part one he makes fun of other races and makes it noticable how people laugh at jokes pertaining to other but when it comes to laughing about their own race they don't laugh instead they get mad. I agree with 80% of the things that he says. I love carlos mencia... its about time that someone says what we've all been thinking!

After watching the Miss Teen video, the song by Green Day "American Idiot" started making alot more sense to me. I finally realized what they ment and what their lyrics are all about. The lyrics are pretty much saying that our way of thought and the way we live now is all because of the media.

With their subliminal messages they have controled the world. Think about it.. we live in a world were Paris Hilton and Britney Spears are more important than politics. Ask anyone what happened to Paris recently and everyone will be able to tell you but im sure no one will be able to name atleast 4 people running for president in 2008.

We look up to being like Paris Hilton when in fact she has no college degree and barely even knows what a calculator looks like, let alone use it. The media has a huge influence in the way that we think and the things that we do.

Why is coach better? why do we like coke? Because of the media. The media tells us wats in and whats out. Without it we'd probrably be mindless zombies (more than we are already) because we'd have no one thinking for us. Its so much easier for others to tell you what you should wear and to eat than to actually think of it yourself.

How much does the media influence us? Alot ... Do you really think you would have the car that you do if it wasn't advertised in the middle of your favorite show. most likely not. I would be lying if I said that I was not affected by the media because I am. Im another american idiot who knows more about Teen gossip than the war in Iraq and the important things. We constantly have different bilboards and commercials and magazine adds giving us subliminal messages encouraging us to buy their product. We usually buy into it too!

Miss Teen Ditz

Wow, excuses excuses. During that whole video she sounds like shes reading from a cue card... (that is if she can read). "Blondes Are Ditz." I used to think that was just a stereotype but shes not a very good example. I personally don't think she knows were she is or where L.A. is .... im suprised she even knew what graphic design was. I'd expect her to be ditzy model who lives with her mom since she doesn't know how to do anything else. She has no excuses. If she didn't understand that question she should have said something, she would have looked less stupid saying "I don't understand the question can you repeat it again". Than the stupidy that she blurted. She tried to make a comeback at the VMAs and that was also a bust since she again sound like she was reading a cue card. This just shows that beauty pagents are for those who can't think. All they are suppose to be is a visual figure of goodness when all they care about is looking pretty. Its sad how people look up to pagent winners. All people go on talk shows to make themselves seem like a victim after they have a mess up especially like that one. now lets wait for britney's excuse for why she messed up at the VMA. that was another train wreck!

My First Blog.

I really can't say that this is my first blog because it isn't. I use to have a live journal called Xanga which I think is 10 times easier than blogger.com but thats besides the point. Im still not used to the whole technology thing with our english class. Everything we need is on webCT or on blogger. Its still weird to me. Im used to going to class and having the teacher explain everything in person not online. The thing that makes it even worse is that i can't even read my emails since the java thing doesn't work. This is all too much. Hopefully i'll get used to all of this sometime soon. Im not a big fan of this blogger.
