Great US of A: Home of the Lies!?

I find it rather difficult to think of something to write for this blog since I am still confused and shocked about what i just finished watching. America itself has been forced to change through its dominating government system that swears that it is here to make good changes and is "doing the right thing for this country." There is no wonder why we believe all the garbage the president feeds us about Iraq and 9/11. We have been trained from the moment we entered a classroom to believe what your elders tell you. Cousins in Honduras are more educationally advanced than we are and they haven't even gone into their high school years. We have been trained to be gullible zombies. Is there any shock why we are STUPID compared to other countries? Personally I find this very sad. We are so "big and bad" yet the majority of its people can't read correctly?! How much influence does the media have? A LOT! Whether we like to believe it or not ... it has a lot of influence. This doesn't have to come from the news; it includes everything from television channels to radio stations to magazines and billboard ads. They all hypnotize us to suggest what we should wear, what to believe or what we should think. Teens are constantly being "hinted" that they should act a certain way from what they see in the T.V. ... Take a little kid for example, they may think its okay to act like their favorite t.v. star since they are put in front of the t.v. since the age of 2. They can kick and punch a little kid because the power rangers did it. Its just another way for America to start training their future soldiers. The media is very influencial but not accurate... How much of what they tell us is reliable? is it true? is it exagerated to make us think a certain way? Are they ommiting certain things from us? The media is controlled by the government .. and they wouldn't want someone to be better than they are ... now would they? .. i don't think so.
